ARTIST PROFILE

Randy Roa

Randy Roa

Randy Roa’s watercolors of natural gardens have a picturesque, dramatic presence. Color thrills the artist — seeing it, mixing it, working it into many transparent layers brings nature into crystalline focus.  Imagery and technique are combined to summon the observer’s own inner landscape of memories and emotions.

Randy Roa hails from Lipa, Batangas and went to the University of the Philippines to study painting. Among his notable exhibitions are: “Once” a One-Man Show for Paperwork PH, Quezon City; “Abstract Realities”; “Vultus Christi: The Face of Christ” for Galerie Joaquin; and “Art for Peace”, for Galeria las Islas, Silahis Art Center, Intramuros, Manila.
