Artworks GalleryArmenius Aralar
In his years as an elementary student, Armenius Aralar's teachers would catch him in class sketching robots, mountains, and tree houses. He became known in his small community as somebody with skill and was often assigned to do school projects, signages. Scenes that inspire him were mostly children at play, lakeside views, and market scenes. He was inspired by the rural depictions of National Artist Fernando Amorsolo, Claude Monet for his impressionist styles. His recent works are about children and memories of childhood past times, which armenius explains, "They are fun to watch because they seem to live about a world with no problems".
