As part of a comprehensive survey of the projects for year 2016, the Galerie Joaquin group has put together “Joyeux Noel”, an exhibit that showcases the spirit, the optimism and the exuberant energy that is 2016.

This special exhibition at the lobby of 8 Rockwell in Makati, surveys the best of 2016 by exhibiting works from artists who had shows with the group for the year. The exhibit is the third in a series of pop-up exhibits organized by Galerie Joaquin at 8 Rockwell, a tower along Rockwell Drive in Rockwell, Makati—across the street from Power Plant Mall. “Joyeux Noel” will run from Thursday, 15 December to Saturday, 31 December 2016.

Artists' collaborative works featuring the sculptures of Michael Cacnio with paintings of National Artist Federico Aguilar Alcuaz and Presidential Medal of Merit awardee Juvenal Sanso will be exhibited. Also included are works by National Artist Arturo Luz, Justin Nuyda, Raul Isidro, Carlo Magno, Ephraim Samson, Dominic Rubio, Ross Capili, Benjie Mallari, Aljo Pingol, Ombok Villamor, Francis Nacion, Carlo Ongchangco and Camille Ver.

Works by Modernist icons like glass sculptor Ramon Orlina, monument sculptor Eduardo Castrillo, and National Artist Abdulmari Imao will be exhibited alongside works by contemporary artists Joe Datuin, Ram Mallari, and Nixxio and Ovvian Castrillo. Also included in the exhibit are works by master Angelito Antonio, and rare works from the late Mario Parial coming from the family's collection.
