Oliver Ojeda (b. 1988) is a visual artist born in Makati, Philippines. Having majored in Industrial Design at the UST College of Fine Arts and Design, Ojeda initially found his footing in the realm of art as a graphic designer, a career he began to pursue in 2011. His profound love for the arts began to further blossom when he practiced woodworking and furniture design for five years from 2015 to 2020. In 2023, the artist revisited this era of his artistic progression by applying his skills to sculpting. He began to experiment with diverse materials ranging from wood, foam, acrylic, and steel.
Oliver Ojeda crafts abstract works with his distinct contemporary sensibility. He approaches his craft with an air of spontaneity, allowing his intuition and emotions to guide the strokes of his works. The result is pieces born of subjectivity as the artist captures his inner world in physical manifestations of expression.
