Nap Limaten (b. 1978) is a self-taught Filipino sculptor currently residing in Cainta, Rizal. Limaten started honing his craft in a small town in Benguet province. His intuitive form-making process and great attention to detail brought him from the upnorth to the urbanity of Rizal and Manila where he continuously experimented with other materials and techniques. Aside from metal and brass, Limaten is also skilled in sculpting wood, plaster of paris, and wax. 

As an artist, Nap Limaten tries to capture, interpret and re-present beauty as he sees it. His work focuses largely on the female subjects, both representing grace and beauty. The graceful and harmonious flow of line, whether in the human form or in its clothing, is evident. While his sculpted figures convey authentic human emotions, they serve as archetypes that transcend the context of their story.
